Leah Wilson
Leah Wilson is the founder and executive director of Stand for Health Freedom (SHF), a nonprofit dedicated to protecting basic human rights, constitutional rights, and parental rights. An attorney with a background in complex litigation and advocacy, Leah is passionate about children’s health and has researched and worked on child welfare issues for more
than a decade. She is also the owner and former operations director of MaxLiving Indy, one of the largest natural health centers in the Midwest.
The overmedication of foster care children as a form of behavior management is what compelled Leah to become an advocate and foster parent. During her time as a court-appointed special advocate for abused and neglected children, Leah witnessed the rampant use of psychiatric drugs among foster kids. She also discovered that, in addition to many
extensive requirements, the state had a policy that all foster children and foster families be fully vaccinated, without exception. Through her involvement in law, health and the foster care system, it became abundantly clear to Leah that the single most important issue affecting child welfare in the United States is the practice of one-size-fits-all medicine via medical mandates. This motivated Leah to expand her advocacy beyond foster care to all children nationwide and start SHF in 2019. Leah is active in community and civic affairs. She an educator on vitalistic and holistic health and a sought-after speaker who lectures on myriad issues ranging from the epidemic of chronic childhood illness, to religious rights, to greening your home. Additionally, Leah is the
founder and president of Maxmoms Indy, a community of holistic moms that empower each other to be the best health leaders possible for their families. A graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Law, Leah holds dual bachelor degrees in political science and Spanish from Indiana University. She presently resides in Indianapolis with her husband Nick and their two young children.

1:15-2:45 Lunch & vendor time (Please be back in your seats by 1:30 pm)
2:50-7:00 Session 2

Lunch and Food:
We would love to give all the Alexandria restaurants the business, but with the amount of people attending the conference we encourage you to bring a picnic lunch. There is seating available around the campus and by the lake for eating your picnic lunch! It is a beautiful campus to enjoy! This will also be a great time to interact with our vendors and others attending the event. If you decide to eat inside the worship center, we ask that you be respectful and clean up after yourself. Note the bag policy, so keep your lunch in your car until the break.

Child’s room:
There is a “cry room” or “child’s room” for mothers with young children (childcare is not provided). We have set the expectation that this is an event to learn and we do not want loud distractions. If anyone prefers a quiet place to go, or to nurse, that is the perfect place. There is a bathroom in there as well to change diapers (diapers are not provided).

May I bring my kids?
Yes, they are welcome to come as long as they are young enough to sit on your lap or wear them. If they are older and not on your lap, they need to buy a ticket. Please keep in mind this is a family friendly event, but the topics are geared for an adult audience.

Check In Process:
Please print off your ticket and have in hand for streamline check-in. If you do not have the printed ticket, we will require to see the QR code on your phone. If you aren’t able to locate your original tickets, search your e-mail for ExpoPass as that is the vendor we are going through.

Event Recording:
Due to our contracts with our speakers there will be NO video or audio recording allowed. If you are seen recording you will be asked to delete your content and then be removed from the event. This is a zero tolerance policy and will be strongly enforced. There will be a professional video recording our event and the full event will be made available for purchase at a later date. Thank you for following along with our contracts.

Bag Policy: See Image Below
With the check-in process we are asking for NO purses or bags. If you are bringing your child and need a diaper bag, these will be allowed, but will be searched by the security team. Think about this event as a concert, Vikings game or other large event. Example Below:
We strongly encourage people to not bring any type of bags to the event, but you will be able to carry the following style and size bag, package or container at event areas:
Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.” or One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
Small clutch bags that are 4.5”x 6.5” with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the event along with one of the clear bag options.
An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a door designated for this purpose, including breast pumps.
PROHIBITED items include but are not limited to purses larger than a small clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, seat cushions, strollers, computer bags and camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size.
Your bag will be subject to search if necessary. All bags that exceed the event’s bag policy must be taken back to your vehicle.
It would be a great idea to bring a notebook and pencil/pen to take notes!

Security:
We want to remind everyone that this event is designed to be a safe learning event for everyone. We understand that this topic is hot right now and we would like to remind everyone to stay positive. If there is someone who decides to not follow these recommendations, please let the hired security and officers take care it. We are in the house of the Lord and we know that He will be watching over us.
